My Papa, John Buss. A good and simple man. Worked a hard life and served his country. I am honored to have this great man as my Grandpa, and love him so very much.

Such a Mama's Boy
Well here are some new pictures of Abram that are adorable. He is still such a mama's boy, but I love it. He is getting so big, and I am sad that he isn't my little baby anymore. He loves to play with trucks and with his Danner dog. He is running around the house now...climbing on everything. The other day I caught him on top of the toilet. He had pushed the stool over and climbed up there all by himself. Scary, but what do you do! His new word is "thank you" but it sounds more like "tant to". He doesn't have a lot of words yet, so I was impressed that he could say that!

Pizza Night 2-Nite
Kate is getting so big. I can't believe she is already three and a half. She loves to help me cook, it doesn't matter what I am cooking, she wants to be apart of it. I love to have this special time with her, and help her to develop these skills. Tonight we made french bread pizza, and all I had to do was cut the bread, and spread the sauce. Kate did the rest, almost without supervision because I had to handle one of Abram's melt downs. When I was finally done fixing Abram's issues, I went to the counter and Kate said...there, all done. She was right, she put the cheese on and the pepperoni. She did a great job, what a great cook.
Making a Bird House
So funny coincidence...Kate out of blue came up to me and asked if we could make a bird house. I didn't even think she knew what a bird house was. Anyhow- she does... I told her that when we went to the store we would buy stuff to make a bird house. Later that day I had to go to the dollar store to buy some supplies for a craft project, and what do you know they had little bird houses. Kate got so excited and asked if she could buy one, I said of course. Next we went to Wal-Mart and bought bright pink paint. She picked the color herself, she said that this bird house was for girl birdies. The next day I let her paint it, all by herself. She did a fabulous job! She was so proud of her bird house, and I let her pick a tree branch to hang it on. She picked one in the back yard and likes to show everyone who comes over.
